I found very interesting how the author was able to give a very detailed description of the life of humans from the very beginning. Towards the end when he mentions how men tend to judge and discusses the topic of slavery, can those details be a result of patriotism?

The author gave a very interesting time line of human development. It seems paradoxical that in spite of all the advancement, humans still have the primitive nature of fearing to share land. Why is the importance of having a land, that solely belongs to you?
